Slogans for Change in Community Mobility

The slogan writing activity aimed to create powerful, memorable messages to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable, inclusive urban mobility. We wanted to engage the community in thinking critically about transport choices and how they impact both the environment and their everyday lives.

We sought to expand the understanding of urban mobility among local community members, illustrating how these systems can either enhance or hinder their lives based on how sustainable and inclusive they are.

How We Brought Our Vision to Life

The event began with the Sangati Kendra girls brainstorming the best slogans to communicate the importance of sustainable transport. After selecting short, catchy, and meaningful slogans, we prepped the wall spaces for painting and began the writing activity. The girls used bright colors to create slogans that were eye-catching and easy for passersby to read and remember.

  1. Preparation: Cleaned and cleared wall spaces for effective painting.
  2. Slogan Writing: The girls wrote out slogans in bold, vibrant colors, ensuring visibility and clarity.
  3. Public Engagement: Slogans were displayed in high-traffic areas to spark awareness and start conversations.
