Fostering Collaboration Through an MoU: Patliputra University and The Climate Agenda Join Hands
Universities are often perceived as spaces limited to lectures, assignments, and examinations. But on 20 November 2025, Patliputra University began to redefine that idea.
On this day, the university opened a new chapter, one where learning extended beyond classrooms and connected academic knowledge with real-world insights and lived experiences.
As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Patliputra University and The Climate Agenda, the Internship and Collaborative Dialogue Program brought together key voices, including Ekta Shekhar, Director of The Climate Agenda; Dr. Rajiv Ranjan, Dean of Students’ Welfare; Md. Ali, NEP Head; and members of the City Forum.
The program highlighted the power of internships and youth engagement in shaping sustainable and climate responsive communities. Students discovered opportunities to contribute to climate awareness programs, sustainability initiatives, and local community projects, gaining experiences that go far beyond mere textbooks.
Discussions also focused on how academic learning can be applied in the field. Participants explored mentorship opportunities, hands-on internships, and collaborative projects that help students build leadership, research, and practical skills.
The plan under this collaboration includes organizing regular internship orientation sessions, conducting youth dialogues and workshops on climate and sustainability, and expanding partnership with city forums and community organizations to provide students meaningful exposure.
When Knowledge meets Action, and Learning becomes Impactful.
