🌍 Climate is Always Our Core Agenda! 🌍

We’re thrilled to announce that the on-ground activation of our clean and inclusive Urban Mobility campaign in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh has officially begun! 🚀 Our journey towards a cleaner, more inclusive urban transport system kicked off with a successful inaugural event and 1st Regional Meeting held in Patna on August 7th, 2024.

This event was a crucial milestone, with multiple objectives in mind. We brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure that no one feels left out as we move forward. Identifying key stakeholders with both high interest and potential was another priority—those who can lead our growing network focused on sustainable mobility in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

We were honored to have the support of local government representatives, including the Hon’ble Mrs. Sita Sahu, Mayor of Patna Municipal Corporation, who officially inaugurated the campaign. Her commitment to supporting our efforts, alongside officials from the Urban Metropolitan Development Authority, the Department of Transport, and the Climate Change Division of the State Disaster Management Authority, strengthens our resolve to transform urban mobility in Patna.

The event also saw the active participation of academic institutions and think tanks from the region. Notable figures like Mr. Vishvaranjan and Dr. Vidyarthi Vikas, along with Reshma Prasad—the first transgender person in India to be nominated as a Senate Member of a University—brought invaluable insights and inclusivity to our discussions.

Our engagement didn’t stop there! We hosted CSO representatives from Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, and Muzaffarpur for a focused group discussion, where we explored the project landscape in depth. Additionally, we conducted a perception survey to capture the diverse voices and opinions of the communities we aim to serve.

This is just the beginning of our journey. Stay tuned for more updates, including the upcoming report on our FGD and Perception Survey. Together, we’re paving the way for a cleaner, more inclusive future.

Thank you for your continued support! đź’š
